InCheck Announces Newly Formed Executive Leadership Team

Following the May 2023 appointment of Rachel Morafcik as CEO, InCheck forms a new, all-female executive leadership team from a seasoned, internal slate of InCheck talent.

Milwaukee, Wis. – September 6, 2023 – InCheck, a leading national provider of background screening and monitoring solutions, has reorganized its leadership structure following the May 2023 appointment of Rachel Morafcik as Chief Executive Officer. In order to best support InCheck’s strategic vision and growth, the company promoted an executive leadership team from within the organization’s management team.

Jen Waite, formerly Director of Operations for InCheck, has taken the position of Chief Operating Officer – a role previously held by Morafcik. Waite has been with InCheck since 2019 and brings over 18 years of screening industry and compliance expertise to the organization. Waite will lead operational strategy and productivity, while encouraging a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and excellence.

Amy Westfahl, who successfully oversaw the finance and accounting functions as InCheck’s Controller for the past 7 years, was named Chief Financial Officer. In her role, Westfahl provides leadership for the business and finance functions and works to execute long-term growth strategies.

Kirsten Wiegman was promoted to the position of Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, following the past four years of building the InCheck brand in the role of Director of Marketing at InCheck. Wiegman brings over 20 years of marketing and strategic planning and will lead the company’s commitment to client experience, strategic communications, and marketing outreach.

Meg Wein, formerly InCheck’s Human Resources Manager, moves into the role of Director of Human Resources where she will oversee all aspects of the HR and Organizational Development function, and lead the executive of the company-wide DEI and employee engagement initiatives. Meg brings 10 years of experience working in human resources and training development and is focused on aligning all organizational initiatives with a customer-oriented, talented team.
