InCheck Commemorates 20th Anniversary by Focusing on Team Connection, Celebration, and Culture

InCheck, Inc., a full-service background screening and drug testing company, is celebrating 20 years this month. Started in Southeastern Wisconsin in 2002 by partners Andy Gallion and Adam Kiehl, InCheck was built on the vision to be a better screening service provider to employers, youth sports, and volunteer organizations.

Two decades ago, Gallion and Kiehl were both working as recruiters and experienced first-hand that customer service and receiving timely, quality screening reports from screening vendors were pain points in the industry. They felt they could deliver a better client and candidate experience, so they launched the company and got to work.

For several years, the partners each wore many hats. Very early in the organization’s history they performed a majority of the operations, compliance review, client service, and sales roles. “We would sell the services, do the research, and even drive results over to our clients if there was a rush request.” said Gallion, InCheck’s Chief Executive Officer. “It is that level of service and customer care that we worked to embed in every area of our organization over the past 20 years.”

To celebrate the 20-year milestone, InCheck has invited all employees and their families to visit Milwaukee for a celebration weekend in July.  It will be an exciting event, as many employees have never met their co-workers face-to-face. InCheck went to a virtual model in March 2020 due to COVID and today operates as a “virtual-first” environment with a brick-and-mortar location in Wauwatosa. This shift has offered an opportunity to be geographically diverse and build out an even stronger pool of industry and service experts.

Gallion and Kiehl met on the baseball field in Little League during elementary school, so it is no coincidence that the big anniversary event will take place at American Family Field in the Legends Club during a Brewers game. “Our sports connection was just the start of a strong, long-term partnership.” said Kiehl. “Bringing our team together at the ballpark seemed like a fun way to share our common love of baseball with InCheck’s talented, hardworking, and dedicated employees, and to emphasize the importance of teamwork and trust.”

Gallion and Kiehl are excited about what the future holds. "The past couple of years have demonstrated the strength of our operations and our ability to scale," said Gallion. "We have an amazing team, loyal clients, and strong partners. We will continue to emphasize our service excellence and custom model. We are poised to continue our growth as a recognized, enterprise, screening and monitoring partner.”
