By signing on to CEO Action, InCheck - under Gallion’s leadership - is pledging to take action to cultivate a workplace where diverse perspectives and experiences are welcomed and respected and where employees feel encouraged to discuss diversity and inclusion. The collective of nearly 2,000 signatories takes action in the workplace, exchanges tangible learning opportunities and creates collaborative conversations via the initiative’s unified hub, CEOAction.com.

InCheck announced the initiative internally in late 2020, and held its first all-company program event to coincide with CEO Action’s third annual “Day of Understanding.” The Day of Understanding, taking place nationwide over the month of April, is the business community’s largest movement to host candid conversations and help advance diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace. The Day of Understanding provides leaders across the coalition’s nearly 2,000 organizations a collective opportunity to lead open dialogue and inspire change with over 13 million employees.

“Diversity and inclusion are difficult issues to navigate, but we are committed to having constructive conversation about our differences, to bridge that gap ,” said Gallion. “I am proud that our team showed such vulnerability and collaboration during our inaugural Day of Understanding program event in April. It was important for us to reflect on difficult topics that can sometimes be ignored in the workplace.”

A diverse and inclusive workforce facilitates community, but also drives innovation and creativity. By taking the pledge, and facilitating team dialogue, InCheck is taking a step towards affecting positive change and building a positive organizational culture. As a new signatory, InCheck is excited to cultivate a new type of ecosystem centered around collaboration and sharing.
