Whatโs an NPS Score, and Why Does It Matter? If you’re new to NPS, itโs a gold-standard benchmark companies use to measure how likely customers are to recommend their services. Customers rate how likely they are to recommend a company on a scale of 0-10, and the ratings are then grouped into promoters (9-10), passives (7-8), and detractors (0-6). Subtracting the percentage of detractors from promoters gives you the NPS. The higher, the betterโand the average for our industry is just 41.
